Best Western Golden Key

We stayed at the Best Western Golden Key in Auburn on our way from Sacramento to Milwaukee. I was looking for an affordable place that wasn't too shady - I was really blown away! For under $100, this is an absolutely lovely hotel. Private entrances, lovely landscaping. The room was clean, well laid-out, and with an excellent bathroom. King size bed was comfortable, if not luxurious. We weren't staying for pleasure, so for what we needed (a safe, clean place to crash overnight) it was perfect. Continental breakfast was delicious and included a waffle maker, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. Lots of options for picky eaters! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and price. Will definitely choose Best Westerns again.
