Yesterday my husband went into the bank to speak with a loan representative regarding refinancing our home of 38 years here in Claremont. The loan rep "Peter" was unavailable and an appt was made for 9am on Friday the next day and he called that evening Thursday to confirm. Friday morning we arrived before the bank was open. Upon opening we informed the greeter of our appt and were instructed to take a seat. Approximately five minutes later as Peter was approaching us and elderly man came in and approached Peter. After a brief exchange Peter indicated to us he'd just be two minutes and walked away with the gentleman. Twenty minutes later I went up to the podium and wrote Peter a note asking him to call when he was available to keep our appt and we left. At 12:42pm Peter finally had time to call and he was informed we would not do business with him. If this is how Bank of America chooses to treat their clientele, we will take our business else where. There are many options available to us. Peter does not belong in a customer service position for a banking institution.
