Ameripride was our uniform company for about 9 years. During that time we had the typical ups and downs of any service related business. The driver definitely makes or breaks the quality of service you receive. For years, we had a great driver and the company on a whole seemed to work together to deliver top service.
Unfortunately, as the years went on, we began experiencing more and more problems on a weekly basis. Missing uniforms at every delivery, repair tags completely ignored at the plant and would just get laundered along with the garment. We'd make attempts to discuss with the driver and point out the issues but I believe an overall lack of pride and responsibility comes form the top and works down to eventually diminish the service quality. We also found that they had created separate accounts (for 1 delivery location) which came along with a duplicate service fee. We never authorized the duplicate fee but when we discovered it (after several years), there was no attempt to make things right and refund the excess charges as we requested. The response we received regarding our formal request for a refund of the excess charges were excuses and finger pointing. An honest and professional management team would have understood how a hidden fee cuts to the core of any trust in a relationship.
Unfortunately due to their unwillingness to refund the hidden fees and an apparent inability to correct service deficiencies, we were forced to terminate our relationship. In that process, the supervisor seemed to take "pride" in sticking it to us every step of the way. We received invoices of missing uniforms for employees that hadn't worked at our company for 5 years. I believe this was all an attempt to make our lives difficult and punish us for seeking another uniform provider.
Hopefully Ameripride can find a path back to the company they once were. Unfortunately my review is heavily tainted by my final experiences and I have to give a poor review.
