Dr. Alexan is great. I suffer from a rare headache condition that a dozen neurologists since I was a teen had misdiagnosed. Dr. Alexan actually treats my pain. He doesn't prescribe me any painkillers that just mask my pain as my other doctors have. I am an established patient, and he has always made it a priority to fit me in as soon as he can. He has stayed late hours to treat me. Dr. Alexan also lets me know when there are other treatments available that insurance may not cover but the research shows works-- as an example, oxygen therapy. His appointments are usually running late, but I think that is because Dr. Alexan gives each patient the time to discuss his or her condition and treat it. In my opinion, Dr. Alexan excels at taking a realistic approach to my condition-- he knows there may not be a cure, so he tries to effectively manage the pain.
