We had bought a new home and after a few estimates I decided to go with Advantage. They had not been the lowest price, but not the highest. The problem was the quality of work and the time it took to complete the job. First ‘ALWAYS’ ask for your walls to be rolled, and second… ALWAYS check that the work has been completed. The paint had been applied so thin that we could see the color selection we had written on the wall before they painted. Also we had to go through the entire house twice with post it notes to mark walls and areas of walls that had been missed. The owner got upset the first time when we pointed out the missed areas even arguing with my wife saying that we expected too much. When we went through the home the second time with ‘post it notes’, and our walls looked like some type of office (due to all the post it notes) he backed off and spent the next 4 days fixing the problems we had shown. There was never an apology for the quality of work, he argued with my wife about us paying more since he felt we were asking for a ‘custom job’ (no we just wanted what he said he would deliver), etc. Needless to say I would suggest you look elsewhere for a painter and ALWAYS check their work.
